Well, if you've been following this blog you'll know there has been baby fever, of sorts! It started with the baby onsie favor boxes and now I've done some cards using the same design as the boxes. When cutting I usually select 'Keep Proportions' and select the height for 10.5" File is here
Here are some ideas if you want your card held closed. I've use colored elastic hair bands which may be helpful if you are hold a gift card or gift certificate in place. I used a pink one here...
and a green one running vertically with the stripes.
If you have reversed the paper and have a dark pattern on the inside you could cut a piece of paper(gasp!!) by hand to roughly follow the shape of the card. Also, if the cards were being used as invitations you could also type the info and print it out and shape it the same way.

Another option would be to use some thin magnetic material to hold the front down.

My problem is that I am new to all this and not very crafty and can not figure out how to fold it. Then I tried the box since it just had one on it and still could not figured out how to fold it to look like yours. Laura, I have to say these are so adorable. I have made several and I just can't stop oohing and ahhing. So easy to cut and fold, and when you emboss them--wow! They come out perfectly!! I can't say thanks enough.
